NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — New Jersey Transit trains heading into New York City are on or close to schedule.

NJ Transit spokesman John Durso Jr. says they were delayed up to 30 minutes while workers repaired an overhead wire problem on the Northeast Corridor near Newark Wednesday.

Midtown Direct trains were diverted to Hoboken until the problem was fixed.
