Owasso’s Shake Milton followed up his standout sophomore season with an even more impressive junior year, which netted him Oklahoma’s Gatorade Boys Basketball Player of the Year award.

Milton, a 6-foot-4 guard, averaged 28 points, 5.9 rebounds and 3.9 assists for the Rams, who advanced to the state tournament for the second straight year.

Milton averaged over 20 points per game as a sophomore, while leading the Rams to the Class 6A semifinals.

Currently, he is perhaps the state’s most highly recruited basketball player, with an offer list that includes the likes of Oklahoma, Tulsa and Creighton.
