Painkiller’s dangers stir concerns in Oklahoma
Overdoses of the common drug acetaminophen spur hundreds of calls to the Oklahoma Poison Control Center each year and can even be fatal, an official said Tuesday.
No deaths have been reported in the state this year from acetaminophen overdose, but there have been many deaths relating to its overuse, said Scott Schaeffer , pharmacist and assistant managing director for the Oklahoma Poison Control Center.
