Pan-STARRS

The Oklahoma City Astronomy Club invited the public to gather at Lake Hefner for a viewing of the Pan-STARRS comet on Tuesday evening.

The comet appeared shortly after sunset and was not easily seen with the naked eye. I used a 400mm lens with a 1.4x teleconverter to search the sky just to the left of the crescent moon.
