Parade Magazine now available to Print Replica subscribers

by Alan Herzberger Published: July 5, 2014

Parade Magazine appears in The Oklahoman every week.

It’s packaged nicely in the Sunday paper that — if you’re like me — you bring in from the driveway Sunday mornings.

In this space, I don’t usually describe retrieving the newspaper from the driveway. I usually write about how The Oklahoman or NewsOK is connecting with you in the digital space.

But until recently, thumbing through Parade Magazine in The Oklahoman was only possible in the printed edition. Now you can see that publication in The Oklahoman’s Print Replica products.

The Print Replica is available to subscribers on their computers or as an iPad application. Subscribers can log in to get access to the handy page-by-page view of The Oklahoman every day. You can zoom to individual stories or open them up in an easy-to-read format.

The iPad app is my favorite way to read the Print Replica. I’m actually surprised how much I enjoy the experience on the iPad. But the page-by-page replica is a great way to see the packaged experience that The Oklahoman offers every day.

So we are continuing to make the Print Replica and other digital products more complete as we continue to grow. It’s important that The Oklahoman’s subscribers have a great experience if (or when) their media habits grow more digital.

Adding Parade Magazine to the Print Replica is just one more step in that direction.
