Buying safe toys for the holidays may be easier this year for parents of "mouthy” babies and older children as manufacturers meet stricter federal standards.

Which toys may pose a risk?

U.S. Public Interest Research Group has identified noise, choking and toxins as possible toy hazards. Here is the group’s list of toys considered unsafe:
