Partly sunny skies and a high temperature near 50 degrees is in the Friday forecast for central Oklahoma, the National Weather Service reports.

There is a 40 percent chance for rain Saturday night and Sunday in central Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Friday: Patchy fog before 8 a.m. Partly sunny with a high near 50. North wind 8 to 13 mph.

Friday night: Mostly cloudy with a low around 31. North, northeast wind 5 to 7 mph becoming calm.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy with a high near 57. South, southeast wind 6 to 14 mph with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Saturday night: A 40 percent chance of showers. Areas of fog after midnight. Cloudy with a low around 43. Southeast wind 11 to 15 mph with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Sunday: A 40 percent chance of showers mainly before noon. Areas of fog before noon. Cloudy with a high near 63. South wind 16 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph.

Sunday night: Mostly cloudy with a low around 51.

Monday: Partly sunny, with a high near 72.

Monday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 52.

Tuesday: Partly sunny with a high near 65.

Tuesday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 35.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 48.

Wednesday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 26.

Thursday: Mostly sunny with a high near 45.
