Carol Daniels, 61, was found dead inside Christ Holy Sanctified Church, 305 E 1st St., about noon Sunday, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Jessica Brown said.

Daniels was an Oklahoma City resident but drove to the church on Sundays for services, Brown said. She had trauma to her body, but officials did not disclose her cause or manner of death pending an autopsy today.

Brown said investigators have no suspects and do not know what the motive may have been.

Daniels was a graduate of Douglass High School in Oklahoma City and of the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, a family member said.
