Patient from evacuated nursing home dies
GEARY — One of 17 nursing home residents evacuated after strong winds or a tornado destroyed the center's roof has died, family members said Tuesday.
A sister of Beth White , 96, said she's not sure whether the incident contributed to her sister's death.
"She did have bruises, and they did move her that night,” said Dorothy Sisney , White's sister.
