Patrick Beverley cleared, will play for Rockets

The Houston Rockets breathed a sigh of relief and are going to get back one of their best defensive stoppers.

Point guard Patrick Beverley is expected to be cleared for play by the Rockets on Wednesday after getting an MRI on his right knee following Game 1 against the Portland Trail Blazers. The Rockets currently trail 1-0 in their first-round series.

The only way the Thunder and Rockets would meet (aka - a Russell Westbrook-Patrick Beverley rematch) would be in the Western Conference finals.
