Hosted by: Thunder guard Thabo and Bertille Sefolosha.

The evening: Food, wine tastings, jazz entertainment, a style show featuring designs by South African designers, silent auction and visuals from the Sefoloshas' visits in Mamelodi with children in need in South Africia, which are helped by this international charity program.

Money raised: More than 200 attended to raise around $250,000.

Auction: Some of the items that brought the highest bids were canvas paintings of Thunder players Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant by Ray Tennyson, which brought $70,000 for the set, and voice messages from Thunder players Serge Ibaka and Kendrick Perkins, which raised around $3,000 for the two.

To benefit: An after-school sports programs in Mamelodi, South Africa, sponsored by the Swiss foundation IMBEWU-Suisse.

GENEROUS HEARTED

Event: The 14th Annual Oklahoma Health Center Treasures for Tomorrow.

Presented by: Jean I. Everest Foundation.

Where: Oklahoma City Petroleum Club.

To benefit: A public art project on the Oklahoma Health Center Campus at The Children's Hospital.

Honored: Rick and Jenny Dunning, Douglas and Peggy Cummings, Mayor Mick Cornett.

Co-Chairmen: Dave Lopez and Teresa Rose. Committee members were Pam Felactu, Joan Gilmore, Nancy Hall, Sue Ann Hyde, Melissa Kizer, Melody Marcum, Brad Naifeh, Ashley Parrish, Nancy Sharrock and Lori Webster.

MAKE BELIEVE

Event: 18th Annual Fairy Tale Ball.

Where: Oklahoma City Petroleum Club.

Presented by: Children's Theatre.

Theme: “Heroes, Heroines and Happily Ever After.”

Chairmen: Kathryn and Cooper Johnson were chairmen; vice co-chairmen were Nicole and Nic Kell''Osso.

The evening: It was an exciting fun-filled evening for the whole family. Fantasy figures, including princesses, knights, dragons, fairies, kings, queens and storybook characters, mingled among the guests. Children dined together and were entertained with games and other activities. Adults dined separately and participated in a silent auction. Family groups danced to the music of Urban Addiction.
