Special Recognition: It was announced that Lake Hef-ner Trails would be renamed the Bert Cooper Trails in honor of the late Cooper, who was an advocate for the city's beautification.

Chairmen: Desmond and Andrea Mason were honorary co-chairmen and Mary Blankenship Pointer was event chairmen. Eric Wynn was master of ceremonies.

Background music: Classen Strings from Classen School of Advanced Studies.

DENTAL WORK

Event: D-DENT (Dentists for the Disabled and Elderly in Need of Treatment) Fundraiser.

Where: Will Rogers Theatre.

Theme: The Great Gatsby Casino Night.

Attire: Roaring Twenties.

Need to know: Last fiscal year 338 volunteer dentists provided more than $1.2 million worth of free dental care to those in need. This resulted in 700 smiles being reborn.

GETTING TO KNOW YOU

Event: Beaux Arts Spring Coffee.

Where: Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club.

What: 2013 Beaux Arts Ball chairman Leslie Russell hosted the coffee in honor of the mothers of the debutantes and escorts of the Beaux Arts Court and committee members. The mothers received information about the year's upcoming events. Tables held picturesque blue and white floral arrangements.
