REDECORATING THE HOUSE

Event: General meeting and tour of the Show House Penthouse.

Presented by: Oklahoma City Orchestra League.

Where: United Founders Tower, 18th floor.

What: The general meeting was held in the Cafe Royale (Show House tent).The evening also included a reception, dinner, tour and shopping in the boutique.

Need to know: The Symphony Show House runs through May 18.

FOR THE BABIES

Event: 12th Annual Charity Auction “Boot Scootin’ Baby.”

Presented by: The Infant Crisis Services Teen Associate Board.

To benefit: Infant Crisis Services to help feed and diaper needy babies and toddlers.

Where: Oklahoma city Farmers Public Market.

What: Thirty-nine teens from 11 Oklahoma City metro-area schools planned the silent and live auctions, which included more than 200 items, and the dinner.

TIP OF THE HAT

Event: Volunteer Appreciation Reception.

Hosted by: Oklahoma AIDS Care Fund.

Venue: Home of Jim Vallion.

Why: To extend appreciation to the volunteers who worked hard to produce the Red Tie Night benefit on March 1.

IN HONOR OF

Event: An Enchanted Evening.

Presented by: Single Parent Support Network.

Where: Jim Thorpe Museum & Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame.

Keynote speaker: Doug Lawler, CEO, Chesapeake.

The evening: Reception, auction, dinner and recognition of Legacy Awardees: Lawler, Jane Jayroe, Rita Aragon, Brad Little and Keri Little and Eagle Awardees Sharron Jackson-Glover and Steve Ramirez.
