To Benefit: Deaconess Pregnancy and Adoption Services.

Special Speaker: Pam Tebow, mother of New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow. Tebow spoke of her faith when she decided to ignore a doctor's advice to terminate her pregnancy because of medical reasons and carried her son to term.

FALL MEET AND GREET

What: Fall General Meeting and Luncheon.

Who: Oklahoma Symphony Orchestra League.

Where: Nichols Hills home of Anna and John McMillan.

IN TRIBUTE

What: Birthday celebration and benefit.

Where: Packard Building.

What: Friends and family of the late Safari McDoulett gathered for a rooftop party to celebrate what would have been McDoulett's 37th birthday and to raise funds for the scholarship program named in her honor at Oklahoma City Community College. McDoulett was killed in a traffic accident in February. She had been community service director for County Commissioner Brian Maughan.

IN GRATITUDE

What: Rose Soiree.

Where: Myriad Botanical Gardens.

What: The generosity of the Nebula Society, composed of patrons who donate $1,000 or more annually to the Oklahoma City University Fund, was celebrated at the second annual Rose Soiree. The event was sponsored by Dick and Jeannette Sias and Joullian Vineyards.

MAKING PLANS

What: Gathering for a meeting at Mary Streich's home. Streich, Oklahoma AIDS Care Fund president, and co-chairmen Jim Roth and Stacey Ford Stiglets make plans for the upcoming Red Tie Ball on March 2. Last year, OACF raised $1.3 million dollars in one evening, making Red Tie Night the largest single-evening fundraiser in Oklahoma, chairmen reported.
