SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Minnesota center Nikola Pekovic and guard Kevin Martin missed Saturday's game against Utah, which was without Derrick Favors.

Pekovic missed his 11th straight game with a right ankle injury he sustained Jan. 27 at Chicago. The big man from Montenegro was a key in the two previous matchups with the Jazz this year, averaging 22.5 points and 11.5 rebounds. Kevin Love moved to center and the Wolves started Dante Cunningham.

Martin, who has a fractured left thumb, is still sidelined indefinitely. He is averaging 19 points and was replaced in the starting lineup with Chase Budinger.

Favors has missed six games with the right hip sprain and the Jazz defense suffers without his presence, losing all eight games he doesn't start (including two games early in the season with a sore lower back). He is considered day-to-day but hopes to play during Utah's three-game homestand. Enes Kanter started at center.
