Eight of the 10 NBA Coaches of the Year this decade have been fired or resigned. Only the Spurs’ Gregg Popovich (2003) and the Cavaliers’ Mike Brown (2009) have survived. And Brown could be on the hot seat this season in Cleveland . The Coaches of the Year:

2000 — Doc Rivers . Was fired by Orlando three years after winning the award.

2001 — Larry Brown. Won the award with ...
