Thunder forward Perry Jones III is unlikely to participate in the Orlando Pro Summer League this week after undergoing an oral procedure to remedy an infection.

Jones, now in his second year after being drafted 28th overall in 2012 out of Baylor, will be with the team in Orlando and there is slight chance he might be able to compete later in the week. But he's considered questionable going into the week, and it seems likely he won't take the court at all.

The procedure, however, was minor, and Jones is expected to return to the court soon.

In the meantime, the Thunder has added Ryan Reid to its summer league roster. Reid, 26, was the 57th overall pick in the 2010 draft by Indiana. The Pacers immediately traded his rights to Oklahoma City, but Reid has spent the bulk of his career thus far in the NBA D-League as a member of the Tulsa 66ers and overseas.

Reid appeared in five games with the Thunder during the 2011-12 season, averaging 1.6 points, 0.4 rebounds and 3.4 minutes. He spent last season with the French club Chorale Roanne. Reid also competed for the Thunder's summer league team in 2010 and 2012. He averaged four points and 2.6 rebounds in 18 minutes in five summer league games last year.

Jones appeared in 38 games as a rookie last season, averaging 2.3 points and 1.6 rebounds in 7.4 minutes. With the departure of sixth man Kevin Martin, Jones is among the players in the mix for an increased role this season.
