A Perry man died today at the scene of a one-vehicle crash southeast of Lucien in Noble County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Charles Rodney Hopkins, 57, was driving an eastbound pickup on Frontier Road west of U.S. 77 when he lost control on the gravel roadway about 10:05 a.m., troopers said. The pickup ran off the road through a barbed wire fence and hit a tree.
