Pet Tales: Silly Snuggle

Snuggle is a funny kitten. I’m going to tell you how and when we got him and what happened during the ice storm. (He lives with our grandparents, Nena and Papa.)

We found him in Altus when we visited our Nena and Papa. He was very clean. At first, we were not going to keep him. My Nena and Papa tried to find the owner for five days. We didn’t find the owner, so we kept him.

The first night he slept at our Nena and Papa’s house, he was on a towel snuggled up to their front doorstep. When I woke up, he was meowing, wanting to get in. My brother and I went to check on him. He kept on going around us. One time, I was holding him and wouldn’t put him down, so he turned around and slapped me in the face.

When the ice storm happened, he was really happy to see me (he normally isn’t). I started petting him, and he rubbed his head against my hand.
