Pet Tales: Pug Love

We have two pugs, one we bought when she was 5 weeks old and a 9-year-old male we adopted from Homeward Bound Pug Rescue. We have also fostered several pugs until they could be adopted. Whenever I leave the house and return and they hear the garage door open, they run to the back door and wait for me. My husband finally caught them waiting for me one day and took this picture. From right to left, is our female pug Charlee, our male pug, JoJo and a foster puppy, Bennie. My husband says they do not do this when he comes home, so we know who gives them the most treats! We really support the Homeward Bound Pug Rescue group and all the organizations that help find good homes for abandoned dogs.

Irene, I'm glad you have discovered rescue and that you are helping find homes for homeless pugs. As you know, no reputable breeder would sell a puppy at five weeks of age.
