NORMAN — A mob of little kids, and a few not-so-little adults, ran around the Adrian Peterson Football Camp this week adorned in crimson or purple No. 28 jerseys.

Cody - You are off the mark on Tavaris: he is big, strong, mobile, and has shades of David Girard down in Jacksonville. With the addition of Berrian from Chicago and year's experience under his belt, Jackson will be better this year. Will he be Peyton Manning? No, but Eli is not Peyton either and the Giants did pretty well last year.

Jackson would not even be a starter at OU this year! What do they see in him that the rest of this world doesn't? I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see the Vikes being a serious contender until Jackson is replaced.

I think he'll do just fine.

This is no different than what happened when Peterson was with OU. Until Oklahoma deepened their passing game again after his first season, it took backup RB's to give the rushing game any consistency. AD is a HUGE talent... and as the article says, he will remain a HUGE target until the Vikings deepen their passing attack. The Vikes most certainly are not Super Bowl contenders this year.
