Pete's Place to feature new 3.2% beer from Choc

Pete’s Place restaurant in Krebs will soon feature a new session beer from Choc.

Saison de Krebs farmhouse ale checks in at 3.2% ABV and will be available only on tap at Pete’s Place.

Choc President Zach Prichard said the beer is excellent and beer drinkers should not be scared away by the 3.2 strength.

Prichard said 3.2 beer “has a bad reputation. That’s not because it’s intrinsically bad. It’s just that most of the available options aren’t good. 3.2 beer can be great.”

I would agree with that point whole-heartedly. I brewed a petite saison checking in at about 3.8% earlier this year and it was one of my favorite beers.

Want to see what a real pro craft brewer can do with 3.2? Might be worth a trip to Krebs sometime soon.
