Phoenix Suns guard Goran Dragic was announced as the Most Improved Player in the NBA on Wednesday.

Dragic had a breakout 2013-14 season for the much-improved Phoenix Suns, averaging 20.3 points, 5.9 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game while shooting 50 percent from the field. With Dragic at the helm, the Suns improved from 23 wins last season to 48 in 2013-14.

Dragic terrorized the Thunder this season, shooting 52 percent from the floor in three games.

Thunder players on the Most Improved Player ballot were Kevin Durant (one first place vote) and Reggie Jackson (one second-place vote, five third-place votes). Dragic won the award over Indiana Pacers guard Lance Stephenson.
