Tiger Woods showed up for a practice round at the PGA--SO WHAT? RICKIE FOWLER TIME!
With all the buzz about whether or not Woods would play the PGA Championship, even a sighting of him at Valhalla Country Club in Louisville, Ky., on Wednesday was news. As people scrambled to verify that Woods was on the grounds, Fowler cut in front of some photographers in the parking lot.
It's rare that you see the frontal photo bomb, but Fowler pulled it off.
Truth is, we should be paying more attention to Fowler, who's going for his fourth top-five finish in a major this season. The former Oklahoma State golfer was runner-up at the British Open a few weeks ago.
Fowler probably has a better chance at winning the PGA Championship this weekend than Woods, who had to withdraw from the Bridgestone Invitational final round on Sunday due to back issues.
Woods' mere presence on the course led to a ridiculously large practice round following ... and more photobombing.
Yep, this is officially my favorite golf photo ever. AMAZING. pic.twitter.com/BS2rVroBZA— Jonathan Wall (@jonathanrwall) August 6, 2014
