Falklands Islands Census
In this March 6, 2012 photo, Daisy Rowlands crosses a street in Stanley, Falkland Islands. Rowlands' great-great grandfather James Watson was one of the earliest British settlers of the Falklands, arriving in 1839. Census results show zero population growth in the Falkland Islands. A survey in April found just 2,563 residents, a term that excludes civilian contractors and British military personnel. That's basically the same population as six years ago.
