In this photo taken April 16, 2012, a female swan nests as a male swan patrols the area on the pond of a condominium complex in Des Plaines, Ill. Officials say an aggressive swan at the pond may have contributed to the death of a 37-year-old kayaker Saturday, April 14. Cook County sheriff's spokesman Frank Bilecki says Anthony Hensley, of Villa Park, Ill., may have paddled too close to a nesting swan as he checked on the birds. A jogger reported seeing Hensley fall from the kayak into the water. No one saw any swans attack him, but witnesses said they saw two birds circling him after he fell into the water. He went under as he attempted to swim to shore. (AP Photo/Daily Herald, Bob Chwedyk)
