As young boy attending Catholic grade  school, Joe Ross was an  altar boy at the team Mass for Notre Dame players at the local Catholic parish in Chickasha the  day before the Irish ended OU's winning streak in 1957. Now, he's Father Ross, pastor of Blessed Sacrament Parish in Lawton. Having later attended Notre Dame, that day with the Irish in 1957 is one that lives on for this Oklahoma priest..
