Pickup runs over Midwest City man, dog
MIDWEST CITY — A man and his dog were struck and killed while crossing a street Monday night, police said.
Claude Melton , 78, had been walking his dog at Joe B. Barnes Regional Park, 8700 E Reno Ave., and was returning home when he was struck by an eastbound pickup while crossing Reno Avenue about 6:40 p.m., Midwest City Police Chief Brandon Clabes said.
