Pickup, train collision in Oklahoma kills Texas man

A collision between a pickup and a train killed a Texas man Tuesday morning in Woods County in northwest Oklahoma.

A Fort Worth, Texas, man is dead after his pickup was struck by a train Tuesday morning, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

About 10:05 a.m., Teodulo Ramirez, 53, was driving east on a Woods County road, about six miles southeast of Alva, when he failed to yield and was struck by the train, according to a patrol report.

Ramirez died at the scene, troopers said. He was not wearing a seat belt.
