McALESTER -- Authorities are investigating the deaths of a man and woman in Pittsburg County as a murder-suicide.

The bodies of 26-year-old Joey Trammell and 27-year-old Reno Jones were found by friends Wednesday morning in their rural Pittsburg County residence.

Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Jessica Brown says both died from gunshot wounds.

Brown says the deaths are consistent with murder-suicide, but that the state medical examiner's office will determine the cause and manner of death.
