A judge in Pittsburg County is scheduled to unseal an Oklahoma multicounty grand jury indictment.

The indictment will be unsealed on Tuesday in McAlester. It's one of two handed up by the panel last week following a three-day investigation. The second indictment will be unsealed Thursday in Oklahoma County.

The nature of the investigations has not been disclosed. The grand jury says it will reconvene on April 24.

The multicounty grand jury has jurisdiction to investigate criminal matters in each of Oklahoma's 77 counties. So far, the grand jury has returned 15 indictments in cases filed in Cleveland, Harper, McClain, Pittsburg and Oklahoma counties.

The previous multicounty grand jury wrapped up its work in September 2010 and issued 10 indictments. It assisted 145 federal, state and local law enforcement agencies.
