Pittsburg State to be honored at Statehouse

PITTSBURG, Kan. (AP) — Football players and coaches from Pittsburg State University head to Topeka on Wednesday to be honored for their NCAA Division II national championship.

The Gorillas beat Wayne State 35-21 on Dec. 17 for their first national title in 20 years.
