The defending 3A cross country state champion won the 3A and below division of the Cowboy Jamboree in Stillwater on Saturday, besting a field of 171 runners.

SOFTBALL

Destinie Lookout, Westmoore

Lookout hit a pair of home runs, a three-run homer and a two-run homer, in the Lady Jaguars' 12-3 win over Mustang to force a deciding game in regionals. Mustang won the second game 3-1 to make the state tournament.

VOLLEYBALL

Courtney Bowie, Bethany

The 6-foot senior's strong play at the net helped the Bronchos nip Mount St. Mary in a hard-fought, five-set match to earn a berth to the Class 4A state tournament. Her performance at middle blocker this season anchored eighth-ranked Bethany on its way to a 26-8 record.
