Plaza Sunday gets kicked up a notch! This month, the Plaza District will be partnering with Fun PR and OK Woodstock to bring the Morning After Brunch Festival to 16th Street! OK Woodstock is the state’s newest camping festival taking place in Sparks, Oklahoma and they have chosen the Plaza District as the location for the official after party. The Morning After Brunch Festival will feature live music from local performers, West of Home. All at the Parish and the best part – all free! Relax and recover from the weekend while listening to live music with a great crowd!

What’s a Brunch Festival without brunch? Urban Wineworks will be serving up their delicious new brunch menu that features over 5 kinds of Eggs Benedict and other unique items such as Quail & Waffle and Bagel & Lox. Just down the street, Saints will also be serving up brunch, starting at 1pm for those late-risers. The Irish pub serves up a seasonal menu for each brunch, featuring fresh and new dishes, with everything under ten dollars!

Backpacks with a Purpose, a Guthrie-based company providing backpacks to nonprofits, will be hosting a Back to Class Art Show & Event at DNA Galleries during August Plaza Sunday. Several local artists received a BWAP backpack and will create individual art pieces to be put up for sale during the event. Stop in to browse through local artist creations and maybe even take home a unique new backpack for back to school! DNA Galleries now sells BWAP backpacks and for every one backpack purchased during this event, two are given to Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma’s “Food For Kids” Backpack Program. There will also be free food and the opportunity for a purchased backpack to be customized on site!
