A pleasant fall day is ahead Monday in central Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma City forecast from the National Weather Service is as follows:

Monday: Sunny with a high near 81. South wind 8 to 18 mph with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Monday night: Mostly clear with a low around 57. South wind around 9 mph becoming north, northwest after midnight.

Tuesday: Sunny with a high near 83. North, northwest wind 10 to 13 mph.

Tuesday night: Clear with a low around 58. North, northwest wind 5 to 8 mph becoming south in the evening.

Wednesday: Sunny with a high near 86. South wind 5 to 8 mph.

Wednesday night: Clear with a low around 61.

Thursday: Sunny with a high near 87.

Thursday night: Mostly clear with a low around 64.

Friday: Sunny with a high near 85.

Friday night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy with a low around 66.

Saturday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny with a high near 79.
