Which OSU running back will have a bigger impact in the Cotton Bowl?
The Oklahoman’s Oklahoma State football beat writer Brandon Chatmon and columnist Berry Tramel debate which All-Big 12 running back will have a bigger impact in today’s 74th annual Cotton Bowl Classic against Ole Miss.

Brandon Chatmon: It looks like Kendall Hunter is finally healthy. Teammates speak of seeing Hunter making the moves they haven’t seen in months and that could be the difference against an Ole Miss defense which the Cowboys will need explosive big plays to beat.

Berry Tramel: I certainly agree that OSU could use some explosiveness, but I haven’t seen it out of Hunter this year. I have to believe that Keith Toston, the old battering ram, will be more effective today, just as he has been all season.

Chatmon: There’s no doubt Toston will be effective, he may have been OSU’s most consistent player this season. But against the athletic, attacking Ole Miss defense, Hunter provides a big-play threat the Cowboys have been missing for the majority of the season.
