Statistically, not so much.

The Cowboys and Ducks are virtual stat twins offensively and have been for a couple seasons now.

While the Cowboys have been the epitome of statistical balance — remember last year when their rushing and passing totals both ended up at 3,161 yards? — Oregon hasn’t been far off.

The OSU and Oregon offenses are currently separated by three spots or less in the national rankings at three of the four major offensive categories, and in the one major difference — passing yardage — the two are separated by only 33 yards per game.

And last year wasn’t much different. Their rushing and total yardage numbers had only miniscule differences, they were 10 spots apart on the national scoring chart, and their passing stats were separated by 28 yards per game.
