Police have arrested a 12-year-old Purcell student accused of selling drugs at school.
The Purcell Register reports that the school counselor was approached by two students who told her they overheard a conversation between a girl and another student about buying and selling drugs.
The principal and counselor talked to the girl on Jan. 14 and found a grinder used for marijuana among her personal items.
The local newspaper also reports that the girl eventually handed over a cigarette holder, a clear bag suspected of containing marijuana and $5.
According to the police report, the other student told the principal the girl has been selling the marijuana to other students inside the restroom.
