Police arrest man on arson complaints in northwest Oklahoma City grass fires

Arson investigators were called to a northwest Oklahoma City location Wednesday. Police arrested a man on complaints of arson and public intoxication.

An Oklahoma City man was arrested on arson and public intoxication complaints Wednesday after trying to run from police in the 8200 block of N Rockwell Avenue, said Master Sgt. Gary Knight.

The man was identified as Robert James Henry, 32, who lives in the 8200 block of Hillers Road.

Officers said a tree was burning and fires had been set in two spots early Wednesday morning. One was behind the Rockwell Plaza Apartments and the other was set behind Slick Willies on Northwest Expressway.

Police requested help from arson investigators after Henry was detained near Rockwell Avenue and Wilshire Boulevard in connection with the fires. has disabled the comments for this article.
