Police arrest Midwest City 12-year-old on a sexual battery complaint
A Midwest City boy's grandmother told Oklahoma City police she found him trying to inappropriately touch her 85-year-old mother.
A 12-year-old Midwest City boy was arrested after his grandmother told Oklahoma City police she found him trying to sexually assault her 85-year-old mother, who suffers from Alzheimer's disease.
The boy was arrested Tuesday on a sexual battery complaint and was taken to the Berry House juvenile detention center.
The 85-year-old's daughter told police she came home and heard the victim say, “You stop that,” through the victim's door. She opened the door and found her grandson trying to hide behind her mother.
The 85-year-old told police the boy “was trying to mess with me,” according to the report. When police asked if the boy touched her breast and crotch area, the victim said, “He was trying to.”
The 85-year-old's daughter told police her mother still had her underwear on and that the boy was wearing a T-shirt and boxers.
She said the boy was spending the night so she could take him to school.
