A Muskogee couple were arrested Friday in connection with two drug-related deaths in January.

Johnnie and Nancy Hinds were arrested on first-degree murder complaints, said Maj. Gary Handley, a spokesman for the Wagoner County sheriff’s office.

On Jan. 25, the bodies of husband and wife Jimmy Rozell Jr., 36, and Deanna Rozell, 45, were found in Taylor Ferry, a rural community east of Wagoner. Investigators later determined the deaths were drug-related.

Johnnie and Nancy Hinds are being held in the Wagoner County jail. No bail had been set Friday afternoon.
