Police: Bodies found in burned-out house are homicide victims

Investigators determined two men found dead following a house fire early this morning are homicide victims, Oklahoma City police Master Sgt. Gary Knight said.

Crews responded to a fire about 3:25 a.m. at 627 SE 14, Knight said. After firefighters extinguished the blaze, investigators found the bodies, Knight said.

The men's identities were not known.

I sure am glad the house is in the name of a rental company because how heartbreaking would that be to find out our family member is deceased by reading something someone posted just so they could contribute to the story. Geez, let the police notify next of kin before trying to be THAT person who tells them through a media source.

The house was built in 1949, with a square footage of 432 feet. The house is currently owned by Carrera Equities LC.
