DAVIS — Authorities say a Yukon man died during a weekend camping trip at Turner Falls Park.
Davis Police Chief Danny Cooper says the man appeared to have died of natural causes and that there were no signs of foul play. Cooper tells a local newspaper that the man was diabetic and had a history of health issues.
Cooper says the 42-year-old was camping with his son over the weekend. The man told his son he was not feeling well and laid down to take a nap. The son notified a concession worker once he realized his father was not moving.
Authorities were called to the park at about 5 p.m. Sunday and the man was pronounced dead.
