CHICKASHA — An Oklahoma woman is pleading for the safe return of her mother's ashes, which were stolen during an apparent home burglary Thursday.

Chickasha police say intruders broke into Jessica Graham's home and stole televisions, jewelry and a brass, heart-shaped container that held the cremated remains of her mother.

Graham tells a local television station that she doesn't care about the electronics or jewelry — just that her mother's remains are returned to her.

She says her mother died last year after battling lung cancer.

Police say no one has been arrested in the burglary.
