Police: Hospital standoff suspect shot son while driving in Jenks

A suicidal man who caused a Tulsa hospital to be locked down Friday morning is accused of shooting his 27-year-old son while they were driving in Jenks, the Tulsa World reports.

Burgin Towe, 60, of Jenks was arrested after a three-hour standoff at Saint Francis Hospital, said Maj. Paul Rinkel, Jenks Police Department operations commander.
