Police identify man fatally shot Tuesday in northwest Oklahoma City

The shooting victim was critically wounded Tuesday afternoon and died later at a hospital, police said.

Police have released the name of a man who died at a hospital Tuesday after being shot in northwest Oklahoma City.

Phillip Lamar Henry, 32, of Oklahoma City, was shot about 12:45 p.m. Tuesday in an apartment complex in the 2400 block of NW 39, police said.

When officers arrived they found Henry critically injured. He was taken to a hospital where he later died.

Investigators are working to interview possible witnesses to develop suspect information. Anyone with tips is asked to contact the homicide tip line at 297-1200.
