UPDATE: 8:05 a.m. Tuesday -- The woman has been identified as Holly Bernice Vanauken, 31, of Oklahoma City. There have been no arrests at this time. Anyone with information should contact the Homicide tip-line at 405/297-1200.

Oklahoma City police opened a homicide investigation Monday after a caller notified authorities of a woman found dead inside a home.

Police responded about 1:30 p.m. Monday to the 2900 block of SW 60. Police said a woman’s body was found in the home, but would not specify where it was located or elaborate on the condition of the body.

Charles Webb, 23, lives across the street from the house where the woman was found.

He said a couple have lived at that residence for less than a year. In that time, he’s witnessed a number of domestic disturbances in front of the home, including verbal altercations.

“This is a tight neighborhood,” Webb said. “Whenever something weird is going on, it sticks out like a sore thumb.”

This is the 12th homicide in Oklahoma City this year, police said. No arrests had been made as of Monday evening.
