Police investigate Oklahoma City's 68th homicide of 2013

Police are investigating the 68th homicide of the year in Oklahoma City. Lawrence Tingle, 46, of Oklahoma City, was found dead Sunday, police report.

Police are investigating the death of a northeast Oklahoma City man who was found dead in his home Sunday.

Lawrence Tingle, 46, was found dead at 11829 E Wilshire Blvd., police reported Tuesday.

Officers went to the house on a welfare check. Police did not report how they think Tingle died. Tingle's death is the 68th homicide case of the year in Oklahoma City.

His body has been taken to the state medical examiner's office where an autopsy will be performed, a spokeswoman said. has disabled the comments for this article.
