Police investigate southwest Oklahoma City stabbing

Officers were called about 12:35 p.m. Wednesday to SW 29 and S Virginia Avenue after someone reported a possible shooting, Oklahoma City police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said.

Oklahoma City police are investigating a stabbing in southwest Oklahoma City.

Officers were called about 12:35 p.m. Wednesday to SW 29 and S Virginia Avenue in response to a shooting. The caller told police there was someone on the ground that was possibly shot, police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said.

When officers arrived they found a man stabbed. The victim has been taken to OU Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening, Wardlow said.
