Police investigate throat slashing in Oklahoma City apartment complex

A victim was taken to a hospital Tuesday after suffering a slashed throat at a northwest Oklahoma City apartment complex. Police are searching for a suspect who fled the scene.

Police are looking for a suspect who fled from a northwest Oklahoma City apartment complex after slashing someone's throat Tuesday night.

Detective Scott Wilson said police got a call about 8:15 p.m. and found the victim with a slashed throat at the Highlands Apartments, 12701 N Pennsylvania Ave.

Wilson said police were working a bloody scene inside and directly outside Apartment 388.

The victim, whose name and gender were not released, was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Police haven't released any information on a suspect.
